At the time of naam-karan. Niru& Nima called pandits as well as kaji for finding a suitable name for the boy. Then the name comes out from pundits and kaji was same known as ‘Kabir’. Then both pandit & kaji again check out the name but the result was same.Then little boy Kabir Sahib get shouted on the pandit & kaji that “don’t worry about name, I have decided my name my self and I will be called by the name Kabir in this kalyug”. By hearing such a speech from small boy kabir every one was surprised.

Satguru Kabir Sahib says: To associate with a Saint is like sitting near a seller of perfumes, though he does not sell you anything, you still enjoy the perfume.One day Satguru Kabir Sahib decided to take naam-diksha from a well known Vaishanav saint Swami Ramanand to give respect to guru parampara. Kabir Dass Sahib know that Swami Ramanand ji gives diksha to upper caste people only. So Satguru Kabir Sahib makes a plan.

One day Satguru Kabir Sahib stretch himself to a small baby size on the “panch ganga ghat”. Every day Swami Ramanand ji goes to that ghat for bathing early in the morning. When Swami Ramanand ji comes near to the place where Satguru Kabir Sahib lying due to darkness early in the morning Swami Ramanand ji was not able to see small boy size Kabir Sahib ji. Swami Ramanand ji leg get touched to Satguru Kabir Sahib ji due to this small boy started crying. Now Swami Ramanand ji lift Kabir Sahib during lifting mala of Swami Ramanand ji get drop in Kabir Dass Sahib neck and Swami ji put his hand on Kabir Sahib ji head and said “beta don’t cry say ram-ram”.

like this Satguru Kabir Sahib becomes Ramanand ji shisy. Swami Ramanand ji eventually declared him as the dearest of all his disciplines.Satguru Kabir Sahib ji exposed the follies of the divines who swore by text books and survived many attempts on his life. Satguru Kabir Sahib ji give up his body at Maghar in Gorkhpur district at the ripe old age of near about 78.
